The month of pumpkins and changing leaves coils around us, and with a steaming mug in hand we discuss stories. This month we took up a new focus: longer stories and series. Most authors dream of publishing a book series, and it pays to consider the challenges that accompany them. But since we are nothing if not contrary, we also have a post about crafting microfiction, the shortest of short stories. For the Halloween enthusiasts on our list, we touch on dark stories and magic as well.
