Mythcreants Invasion

November 2017

The nights grow longer, and we face the yearly invasion by Christmas soldiers into Thanksgiving territory. While negotiations are underway to bring Halloween into the holiday war, why not grab a drumstick and enjoy some posts about storytelling? This month we placed a heavy focus on worldbuilding, with articles about who to craft fantasy empires, and about why fantasy worlds shouldn’t be stuck in a single time period. We remembered to include practical tips as well, with advice on titles and on stories of resistance. Finally, we went into deep analysis, looking at the throughlines of popular novels, and the wordcraft of a best seller.
