Deep in the primal wood, a column of bloggers marched upon us, their keyboards clacking away in the arboreal silence. Their head writer bore a comment thread the lengths of which had not been seen since the ancient days of Kal-Myspace and Azat-Friendster.

That’s what this month’s newsletter would sound like if we let Tolkien write it, which is appropriate since our most popular post this month was a satirical take on Lord of the Rings. Readers loved it, except for the small fraction who didn’t realize it was satire. These few were excited for the chance to explain that the books came before the movie.
