It’s nighttime. From a viewing angle close to the ground, an attractive woman faces away as she unlocks her car about ten feet away. Leaves partially obscure the view in the foreground.
The woman is now just a few feet away, viewed from below. She looks down and behind her, a look of shock on her face.
A side angle of the scene shows the woman staring at a large but not gigantic spider with a tiny video camera attached to its back.
Woman: Who put a camera on this spider?
P.S. Our bills are paid by our wonderful patrons. Could you chip in?
I didn’t understand this. Can someone explain what this means ?
In movies, there’s often a shot in the beginning of the movie where a monster is crawling low to the ground and the person doesnt notice – until, of course, its too late.
Humans are the monsters in insect movies. I mean what type of creature lacks an exoskeleton?
Its parodying the angle a horror movie switches to when the killer jumps out and attacks its victim. It set yous up to expect it only for it be a spider with a camera
If the spider is big enough to carry a camera on its back, it IS a monster.
Strongly second this sentiment.
My first thought was that it just made fun of typical horror movie scenes with the super low camera angles, but I love how many different interpretations immediately drop in!
I love it! Good one again, Bunny and Chris!
The spider is clearly trying to make a documentary about those weird giant creatures who are so dangerous to spiderkind.
Spider-cam, spider-cam
Goes wherever the spiders am
The Fifth Element vibes
No comic this week, as Bunny is working on something special for the illustration, which you will hopefully see next time!
Aw, now I’m curious! Happy to wait for the surprise, though.
