The heroes look at each other.
A close-up of Hero 1’s eyes shows an eyebrow raised in inquiry. A close-up of Hero 2’s eyes shows their eyebrows are creased in an intense stare.
Hero 1 raises a weapon while Hero 2 runs away.
Hero 1: We will never – hey, come back!

We just saw the DS9 ep where Jadzia, Kor and Worf search for the sword of Khaless, which features one of these eye contact scenes!
Kind of refreshing in the Dune movie (too long since I read the book to remember if that was the case there too) that when Jessica and Paul are captives, she discretely uses sign language (with a hand the guards can’t see from where they’re sitting) instead of just looking meaningfully at him.
Yeah, lava gators are cool and all…
But you know in the end they’ll eat the villain
I should add, really cool effect w/ the glowy eyes
