In a large mansion, a caretaker is holding a little girl’s hand.
Girl: What were Mommy and Daddy like?
Caretaker: Your mother was very beautiful, and your father very noble.
Girl points up offscreen.
Girl: Are those Mommy and Daddy?
Caretaker: Ah, yes…
The view has shifted to reveal two portraits. A woman in blood-spattered armor is in one, and a pretty man with devil horns and bat wings is in the other. They are both smiling evilly.
Girl: Why does Mommy have red on her?
Caretaker: Well, you see … she spilled some tomato soup.
Girl: Why does Daddy have horns and wings?
Caretaker: Uh, only costume wings. He went to a costume party.
P.S. Our bills are paid by our wonderful patrons. Could you chip in?

LOL … costume party, suuuuure.
Great one again, Bunny and Chris!
Being beautiful and noble don’t clash with being omnicidal and mostrous. Parents of multiple talents.
They say dead parents are the best.
It holds true in this case as well. It’s for the best that they’re dead.

Sadly, there’s no “like” feature in this blog (and probably never will), but I appreciate the gesture.
