In a large mansion, a caretaker is holding a little girl’s hand.
Girl: What were Mommy and Daddy like?
Caretaker: Your mother was very beautiful, and your father very noble.
Girl points up offscreen.
Girl: Are those Mommy and Daddy?
Caretaker: Ah, yes…
The view has shifted to reveal two portraits. A woman in blood-spattered armor is in one, and a pretty man with devil horns and bat wings is in the other. They are both smiling evilly.
Girl: Why does Mommy have red on her?
Caretaker: Well, you see … she spilled some tomato soup.
Girl: Why does Daddy have horns and wings?
Caretaker: Uh, only costume wings. He went to a costume party.
